J Cawte is an emerging artist from the south west of England, making some inspirational beats ranging between uptempo and downtempo flavors, but always sticking around synth driven electro house with dubstep elements and funky glitch hop.

His recent EP ‘Sonic Art Form’ on Muti Music gained string support with both that EP and releases on Elektroshok and Elektrify Records charting well on Beatport and elsewhere.

‘Digital Planet’ sees J Cawte graduate even further into slamming basslines and huge synth drops that create energized and uplifting moments on dancefloors, he knows how to nail that super funky sound of Glitch Hop with Dubstep drops that have the ‘end of the world and we’re loving it’ epic sound.

J Cawte tunes have some of the funk style of Opiuo and all the crunch, edge and thump reminiscent of Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis or even Skrillex, accompanied by a strong melodic backbone, the breaks are epic, the synth stabs are in all the right places and the drops are large.
