Bollyhood is a reflection of a wave of producers taking 808 beats and ‘Trap’ music into other realms that are not normally associated with ‘Urban’ music. Sounds that could as easily fit in a urban market in South East Asia as they do in a South London bar or a festival full of hippies on the North American west coast. A growing lineage now being made popular by artists like An-ten-nae, LowRIDERz, Laura Low & Lemurr and now LiMB LiFTR.

Predisposed to push boundaries, LiMB LiFTR has a sound that delivers a vibrant combination of bumping trap, pulsing moobahcore and elemental hip-hop that is powerful and potent. Driven to perform from the start, LiMB LiFTR took what was available and made it into something. Maximizing what he learned through experience he had the personal drive and artistry to use his perspective and skill to LiFT what was nothing into creating something amazing.

A love of music focused his energy. Gear was hard to come by at first, but the music never suffered. From the first simple beat, LiMB LiFTR dedicated himself fully and was committed to artistic evolution. With a deep level of local support as both a headliner and opener, LiMB LiFTR floats between the worlds of genre-bending moombahcore and elemental hip-hop. He has Liftd Limbs with the likes of Bassnectar, Astronomar, 6Blocc, Emu, Sayer, GANG$IGN$, Cotti, Shift Recordings (Flux, Bogore, Selfsimilar) and both Red Bull Music Lab and Academy of Seattle.
