Hot on the heals of co-producing about 20 tunes with footwork kingpins DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn including 4 coming out on Rashads album ‘Double Cup’ on Hyperdub Recordings, then remixing Masia one & RZA, reggae legend Sizzla and releasing tunes on Play Me, Street Ritual, Irie Cartel and Woofer Cookers, all following the success of his own mini album ‘Off Top’ on Muti Music , 2013 has been a busy one for emerging San Francisco based producer TASO.

A single minded focus on beats and production keep this young hustler on the pulse of emerging sounds and rhythms. This time creating what he’s called Love Ballads For Strangers / LB4$ and nailing a sound that pays homage to classic RnB, Hip Hop and Soul music and poresenting in in the context of Dubstep and Trap beats that emerge with a certain sense of that Bristol ‘Purple’ sound. The tunes Ena, Dio and Tessera all pump out that Purple vibe that is large in any circumstance and sure to carry a dancefloor, Tria is full of RnB good vibes for a day of beats with romance, Pende is a deeper one with a Future-Bass / 2-step vibe and Exi returns with a banging soul music vibe to finish things off, the end result is epic, uplifting, deep and will certainly carry you away if you give it half a chance.
